    What should I get?

    Hey guys, decided to buy myself a traxxas vehicle but no sure which to get. I would like to stick with electric and stay away from nitro. Also looking for a 1/10th scale. Let me know what I should get. Maybe another summit?

    Nah, buy one that you don't already have.
    I would go for a slash or stampede 4x4. They are isanely durable.

    everyone that asks for input, should include a bit of information, like what they want to use it for, and the surface it will run on...if you just want something new, try out the rally out maybe?

    Something new. I have every type of terrain possible, rocky, mud, water, dirt, snow, and have a local airport that I could run straight line for 2 1/2 miles

    Whatever you're interested in. I was very pleasantly surprised when I ran my new KB Rally 1/16th scale for the first time. I thought it would be kind of dumb being so small but it's got it's place... in my big, smooth, flat, level, driveway lol. If you're dead set on a 10th scale, you can't go wrong with a pede or slash 4x4. They are SO durable and versatile... but they are a pain to work on. If you don't mind 2wd, the Slash, pede, Rustler, and Bandit are all VERY customizable and easy to work on... just not as capable off-road as a 4wd.

    If you have the money, go for it! Personally, I'd prefer the challenge of a 100 mph Rustler... and it's cheaper... but XO-1s are awesome and you have the place to run it.

    get a 4x4 pede, they r so fun! i love mine!i had a choice and i picked that over a 2x4 pede, merv, and a summit! whatever, hope you enjoy your XO-1 then buddy!

    get the new traxxas rally its (AWESOME) i drove one at the local track it corners pretty good and jumps nice. the owner told me he could not break it bashing the heck out of it. it was fun to drive!!

    Im not sure the XO-1 is what most people were expecting. For $1000 its alot of jing for a vehicle you just want to have fun with. You could buy a rally, a big motor/ESC combo, a PF8GT body, some 1/8 buggy wheels and tires and a couple big lipos and see how fast you can get a rally to go. So far, no ones doing rally speed runs so it would not only be interesting... but it would be revolutionary. hehe.
    It would also likely be cheaper than an XO-1... Just a thought.

    They are cool because they are ridiculous right out of the box but like I said before... A 100 mph Rustler would be fun to build and about half the price. I'm not sure you could get 100 mph out of any 4x4 platform without changing out The ENTIRE drivetrain but it would be awesome to see it attempted.
