Shells that fit the rally?

Hello all,
Just ordered a rally. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of where I can get a shell that will fit the rally or what the dimensions are that I should look for. I was hoping to find a Audi Quattro or Toyota celica gt4 type of shell, maybe even a early model Mini Cooper.

The only bodies that DO fit right now for sure are any body for the slash 2 or 4X4's. You may need to tweak the body mounts to get them to fit. But the wheel base is perfect.

Or any body designed to work with an Ofna Ultra GTP2E... Like the stock Ofna body or The Protoform PF8 GT. Youd need to use .17mm hex adapters and 1/8 scale GT tires/wheels though. There are guys doing it on the forum now. Just check out a few of the build threads.

Bodies for the Kyosho GT car, not the longer one, the shorter one (older) will fit but they are like $80-100 and are super hard to find. Bodies for the GT2 will not fit as the wheel base is too long.

To my knowledge there are no Quattro, Celica or Mini Cooper bodies that will fit. Your stuck with whats already out there.

Thanks all....at least there a few options even. Think i may go with the focus. Maybe some retro styles will come out as the platform matures. Thanks again.

That must be the mini body from Thundertigers Rally car. The Jang does a good comparison of 4 different rally cars and its one of them. It looked to me like it was slightly different proportions, but I could certainly be wrong. I havent looked at the specs on my own.

I think with the popularity of this rally segment growing as it is there will be more "rally style" bodies out there in the near future.
