    Can we have a link?
or at least a part number?

I am pretty sure that 25amps will not be enough to push around a 16th though...
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Sorry, heres a link of the 35 amp esc and the motor http://www.nitrorcx.com/96m01-car-2030-7800.html and http://www.nitrorcx.com/hobbywing-ez...-1-18-car.html and http://www.nitrorcx.com/hobbywing-ez...-1-10-car.html Jimmy neutron.... Thanks for all your help. Have you had any problems with over heating or anything? Is it worth getting that over these things?

This motor has a very high Kv rating... I do not have experience with high Kv; I suggest either waiting for 50togo to chime in or send him a PM. I am sure he will be glad to help on that.

Notice how this ESC is for 1/18th? You never want to go smaller with an ESC... especially when a 16th scale is boarder line with these RC's.

This might be ok... but I would rather see something with a higher rating.

I am geared 23/50 most of the time with buggy rear hawgs. I really do not need to worry about heat unless the ambient temps are 90F or above when I am running 2S... I also tend to stay off from grass. I have ran a few speed passes geared 28/45 on 3S... that created some heat! But that gearing is also only for a huge open area since it is good for 60-65mph.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

it depends what he runs, if he runs 3s, you'll need lower amps than 2s. but at any rate, after the nonsense I went through with my LST2 conversion, I would just stick with the factory powertrain. why make trouble for yourself?
