    AT Canyon Tires

What kind of tires are the same size of AT Canyon Tires? Are Emaxx Tires the same size as Summit Tires? Do they do well under brushless power? Do they balloon like AT Canyons?

    Thanks,
    Clay

AT Canyons are the largest Traxxas tires and by their design also the softest/flexiest. Created with climbing and crawling in mind they're suited perfectly to the stock Summit. After upgrading to a Dewalt, I quickly found that the Canyons weren't good for speeds much over 20mph. Emaxx tires are shorter and I did not want to lose ground clearance. I went with Proline Trenchers which are pretty close to the same height. Consider what type of running you plan to do when choosing your next tire. I kept my Canyons for Crawling/climbing, I switch to the Trenchers for general bashing.

    Tires: Talon™ (5.75" x 3.8")
    Tires: Maxx® (6.3" x 3.8")
    Tires: Canyon AT™ (7.1" x 3.8")

The Maxx tires were huge until the Canyon AT's arrived.

Maxx tires balloon, not as bad as Canyons, but they still balloon under brushless power. Just about any tire will balloon if not strapped or tied.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

Im thinking about making a bashing / brushless Summit, but I would prefer not to lose too much ground clearance. Im going to put a Tekin System (2000kv T8) in my basher Summit. Im going to put in Erevo Diffs, and maybe take out the two speed tranny. Any suggestions about tires would be greatly appreciated.

Then you have an ERBE with a Summit body. lol

I would go for non-premounted Trenchers... strap them before you assemble!
