We have brushed boat (nothing great), and I used to fly a gas Hirobo Heli and used to have a brushed R/C car.

This is the first time I have worked with anything brushless.

Having flown and crashed the heli I am no stranger to replacing parts :-)

My son loves small R/C trucks and the boat so I am hoping he will get into playing with and working on the Stampede. I'm looking forward to running and working on it with him.

you should buy one too! the more the merrier, that way it can be a father son thing! it would make me so happy if my dad buys a r/c car. just do it, plus that way if you do break a weird part, you have a spare truck. if you are running with your son side by side you'd feel so proud

First of all, hello, welcome to the forum.... You know you can start a new thread, right?
The ''problem'' you have is 100% normal. I used to think that it was a problem too, but this is a factory setting that help for traction or something like that, I'm not sure...
Also, I can't see your photo because it's a facebook link and I'm not friend with you. Use photobucket instead.

Yes, I also thought it was weird looking, but after watching other videos, you can see that they are like that as well.
It is prob for tracking like the toe in on the front wheels on a car.

    Edit:
Here is a link to another site with a description why ( hope it is ok to post links to other sites on this forum)

    Hope this helps.

The rear toe can also be adjusted. The truck comes with 2.5° stock. If you pick up the alum rear carriers from the slash platinum, you can also get 1° or 4° for tuning...
Sit down, buckle up, hold on, pay me...

Hey emman, I did the drive shaft hole cover mod using the carbon fiber tube.
Very sweet mod and it was not too much work.

No way small rocks are getting in now !!! :-)

I decided to go all the way from the front diff point to about 1/2 the way down the drive train.
I have enough of the carbon fiber tube for another mod.

The only thing I had to do was adjust the steering servo end points so they would not hit the carbon tube. I was surprised how
close the steering linkage came to the drive shaft without the carbon tube. Actually read some posts on the web where some people's Pedes were hitting and rubbing out of the factory.

Thanks again for mentioning that mod !!

    Nick
