    axle carriers

Hey guys, broke one of my axle carriers of my maxx so, I bought a new one without the bearings, figure I can just use the bearing from the old axle carriers. now i found out that the outer bearing is bigger. since when did they change this and make it bigger? what size of bearing is it?

    thanks ya'll.

tmaxx is 6x12x5 and revo is 6x13x5. reason i gave u the revo info is cuz the axle carriers are the same but the revo takes a lil bigger bearing.

i just got a few new carriers on ebay and went to put them on and the 6x12 bearing was to small, so i looked it up and found that i needed 6x13 that come on the 3.3 revo/slayer

There are two different carriers: T-Maxx has 5334 and the Revo has the 5334R--as mentioned the only difference is the outer bearing is slightly larger on the Revo.

http://avidrc.com/product/8/metric-bearings/ @$1 each, buy extras to keep on hand and to replace the white bushings in the steering post & throttle bell crank.

You can't beat Avids bearings, it the same ones my LHS sells ate a $4 each markup.
    Look out for the tree/crunch!

this is why i come here, always get help no matter what situation your at. unlike my lhs you ask for something, you get a no we dont carry it respond, then move on to the next customer. what a shame.
    thanks again everyone.

The new carriers should come with a sleeve that you can put over your smaller bearing so it will fit in the larger bearing hole....if you dont want to use or dont have the larger bearing. #5334R
