Traxxas Wheelie Bar Mount For Now?

Hey everyone. Looks like around 3 weeks is when I go brushless with the rustler. Okay, so mean while since I'm going to use nimh batteries for now. Would it just be necessary to just get the Traxxas wheelie bar mount.http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXRNP8&P=7
Then when I go lipo, thats when I should get the actual wheelie bar assembly right?

Or I dont need neither until going lipo? lol.

LXRNP7 includes the mount and the wheelie bar, wheels included, so if you're gonna buy that's the one to buy. If you don't want the wheelie bar on your rusty for whatever reason then just don't install the wheelie bar part of the kit. I have the RPM wheelie bar mount and the Traxxas wheelie bar on my Rustler.

with the vxl system the rusty still needs a wheelie bar unless you dont mind flipping it all the time. i have the stock nimh battery and the stock speed gear pinion and it still pulls lots of wheelies. i made a wheelie bar myself and it works great

Some extra weight in the front will fix those wheelies, an give you more front end traction. I have an 8oz piece of steel that velcro's in place under the front shock tower. I stopped using a wheelie bar soon after I added that. With the velcro, it comes out easily whenever I need it to, like if I'm on a dirt track.
