Thanks ViperZ, I have to open it to take a peek inside plus the endbell screws weren't tight anyway so that give me a chance to see and I wanted to take the rotor out but it almost impossible to pull it out with your bare hand, I'm afraid I might scratch something.

So, how did you like the run with your rally 2?

I didnt realize that today is the day I have to donate blood at redcross after work so I didn't get to video the run but I did get it to try for a few minutes and I have to say, it feel like it has more torque at start up and from rolling to throttle finger its got gobs of torque.

Humay, what springs do you use? I have the summit shock and springs on my rally because they were so cheap and i think my rear is too stiff....it kinda hops aroung over the road.

Mine originally came from summit with double yellow and double red and now I change that to revo silver @ rear and blue @ front. If blue and silver too stiff for you, try the slayer springs green and black.

I bond it together with tire glue, there are probably a better way but I have not separated them apart with all my crashes lol.

I guess you can leave the front without it, I'm just worry its not screwed on to the front splitter. It's only 2 screws per each side diffusers holding it.

humayrayakongkinaon, Will slash 4x4 hubs (6856x) work with 17mm suprasales...and fill the dp8 body nicely?
If I use 2wd front slash 12mm wheels all-around, the width is perfection. This makes me assume that I would need to gather 4x traxxas long hubs for 2wd.
    (Stock power & driveshafts btw)

#6858x are rear progressive springs slash 4x4. so, what your trying to accomplish is to get the wider stand? not familiar with 2wd but theirs a way to widen the front by using 4x4 arms and longer linkages + 2x front 2wd 17mm adapters.

(6856X---sorry) I am working with a 4x4 rally. Using 12mm 2wd front wheels all-around fills both the Scalpel and dp8 bodies nicely; just no nice tread options. I think you confirmed though, I will need "+ 2x front 2wd 17mm adapters"?

    Hey Hum...
Why did you think it was better to mount the front xo-1,splitter upside down?
Also did you trim the vertical posts that pass through the foam?

due to the rally bulkhead kick up and the XO-1 splitter kick up, turning it upside down gives you a straight line. I trim it a little bit because of my PF8 body's shorter nose.

    Thanks.
I'm thinking I might try and trim the vertical stantions that pass thru the foam bumper about 1/4" and shaving the foam itself in half.
Did you trim the front of the original lower bumper that extends past the aluminum piece that the hinge pins pass thru. I'm thinking the original piece will hold the hinge pins in better.
I will tell you one thing, I'm wishing I had a 3d printer right now.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood you, I didn't have to trim that post that poke thru the foam. yes i did trim the lower skid to the point where the hinge pin blocked off.
