    e maxx caught on fire yoday

    Just bought a e maxx brushless with mamba mmonster on wensday and ran it today for gthe first time and it caught on fire. Why any one???

    Was it new or used ? What exactly got on fire, the Esc or the batts ? Overheating maybe or a shorted circuit..got it wet ?

    more info please like what gearing, lipos used, terrain it was running on, temps of the motor/esc?

    Did you keep an eye on your temps...often the cause of the ESc catching melting down and catching fire or lipos getting to hot.

    Wouldnt thermal cutoff turn off the ESC if it got too hot?

    I hear the BEC is not that good on the castle esc's and an external BEC is needed.

    this is only with power hungry servos like savox the stock traxxas servos are fine he had another problem .
