I just got my Proline shocks for my Rally.
I am just wondering, what weight oil should I run in them?

I would run whatever proline recommends and them and if proline doesn't offer a recommendation I would probably start with 30 weight oil and go from there.
Try 50 in the front and 50 in the rear for the rally setup.

Hey Rob you might want to get the Proline spring set to aid in your set up. My suggestion is to have the front a little firmer than the rear, will help eliminate the front diving on braking and chassis roll or consider front sway bars perhaps too.
Run it and watch what is going on and tune from there.
I am just a parking lot basher and this probably don't count. I have the proline shocks, (30wt and stock proline springs) black sway bars, and the center diff, I changed to some 1/8 scale GT tires which do not have enough side wall tire flex. The factory tires worked really well but lasted only a few packs. The front end seems to handle quite well with that set up.

I am going to fill the shocks with 50wt oil front and rear then go from there. I might get the springs if I think I need them. Do you have the part number for them?
I also just got my sway bars buy haven't installed them yet. Which ones do you recommend I put on?
6063-04 rear's
6063-03 front's
Just got mine in today.

I am going to build my shocks either toinght or tomorrow. I plan on using 50wt oil and see how I like that.
I am wondering though, should I keep the shocks how they are out of the package, or should I adjust the nut on the top of the shock?

You want to take a measurement of the ground clearance you have now and adjust the new shock's after they are installed to get the same ground clearance.
