For raving purposes is it better that the rear tires are toe in? I swapped the spindles from side to side to make them straight but I'm just wanting to know which way is better for the track

You must have the Ultimate edition! The toe in helps it track straighter. I believe it helps in racing, someone else should chime in that has racing experience.
Slash 4x4 SCT 2400
Slash Ultimate MMP 2400
toe in=stability
toe out=faster turning/less stability
Also what do you guys like better for the track slipper clutch or the center differential? And I have a slash ultimate
swapped spindles?? can you explain??
If you switch the rear spindles from left to right it will get rid of the negative toe on the rear end
let me clarify...with the slash ultimate edition, the rear spindles come in different colors. they change the angle where the pin goes through at the bottom.
the stock ones we normal people buy are not side dependent or adjustable, theyre both perfectly symmetrical, so swapping wont do anything.
He is talking about the rear hub carriers. On the Ultimate and Platinum they come with a lot of toe in. If you switch the side that they are labeled for there is a lot less toe in.

Toe in is essential on any RC truck.
It stabilizes the tracking of the truck under acceleration. No toe in and you get horrendous torque steer.
For racing the center diff hands down, it allows you to power out of turns without the rear end coming loose and passing the front end. For bashing its up to personal preferences. I keep the center diff in most of the time.
