What is the benefit of the wing?

Would like to know what you all think the benefit is of having the wing on your ERBE.

I just took the wing off of mine and I like the look better. I'm not doing wheelies or flying it off of jumps, so I don't think I really need it right now. It's just extra weight.

For me it only serves as an anti-rollover device when I pop wheelies with the ERBE.

On fast big airs it helps loads with air stability in my opinion. It's great for wheelie protection and saves the rear of the body getting torn up. It also looks sweeeeet.

It really does help level the truck in big air jumps, & makes a nice cushion for when you land hard on the rear of the truck..
I have ran without it & I kept breaking rear body mounts on jumps....
Would you go flip my truck back over??

It's the first thing that's coming off when my E-revo comes. Wings where popular back in the 80's

that wing protects the body alot. it is for protection more than anything. keep it on. also it is not even heavy compared to how heavy the erbe is anyways.

I know I'm definitely - not even thinking of removing the front bumper. It stays on.

I have noticed that on roll-overs - the car has a better chance to land right side up when it stops rolling w/o the wing attached. And this I like.

Nobody had mentioned one of the best things about the wing. It makes a great carry handle!
