Lots of people love them, i have had the worst luck with them in the past. Prep all i want and the velcro never sticks properly.

*Don't know if dyed chassis should make any difference there but for what its worth the 3 times i have tried an outerwear's shroud they were all on dyed chassis.

I have the dusty motors shourd, I love it.. Does it job & does it well..!!!

Love mine! Its amazing how waterproof the mesh can be.

Before you apply velcro, clean all the chassis parts with rubbing alcohol. Dunno if a dyed chassis would cause it to be more slick. Perhaps it needs to be sanded some, then prepped before application?

Its really fantastic... the shroud... worth every penny. Clean application with rubbing alcohol... will stuck fine. I think you might even have to let it set 24hrs for perfect bond!

Also when I installed mine I scuffed the chassis with a little sand paper to help it stick

Those look awesome, i love the zipper, its a great idea. seems like a great product.

A dyed chassis doesn't hinder the Velcro from sticking. My chassis is dyed and have no problems.

maybe i have just had bad luck, iffy velcro. cause after the first one didnt stick i sure made the effort to prep. everything short of scuffing.

hit ebay to look for a dusty shroud... Lithuania? Seriously? 9 available on ebay and all in Lithuania?

It's a really great idea with the zipper, makes it so EZ to disconnect the battiers & do quick adjustments... I ran into a BIG puddle on thanksgiven day.
Not a drop of water. It actually is just like the outerwears shroud but with a zipper...love it...

Thanks that is what I thought, "Outers" use to make a full wrap around, but hard landings made it not last every long.
I am wanting a full wrap around.. just to get away form the velcro..... That just gave me an idea, hummm...
