I'm waiting on my tracking info. Don't see why mine wouldn't have gotten shipped. Another week and my e revo has been apart for 2 months waiting on those axles. I know where you come from being picky, I'm the same way with my stuff.

Ordered the Kershaw dog bone kit for the lst2 back in December. But it has been a backorder item until now. My build is on hold while I am building and selling pinewood derby cars.

This thread has undergone a thorough cleaning and re-direction to get it back to the topic. A little wandering is fine, fun, and beneficial. Extended conversations about topics having nothing to do with the topic of the KD chassis, the E-Revo Brushless Edition, Traxxas, or even the radio control hobby in general are NOT.
If you need to discuss such things, please do it in the appropriate (non-Traxxas) forum.
Also keep in mind that it is hard to hold the moral high ground regarding rules while at the same time busting the rules of this forum all to pieces.

For a heads up my axles come in as well. Dan emailed and told me a slight bit of grinding may be needed since the front dogbone pins are a bit large. I did the grinding but seemed like the ball part of the dogbone was to large as well. Factory traxxas cvd output fit the dogbone perfect

Waiting on Hybrid BulkHeads for the LST2 differentials. Not sure when they will be ready. But as soon as I get them I will be testing them to see how they hold up. Hopefully better than modified stock bulkheads. I will be using the stock chassis for this testing.

Yes we are all very excited about this. It is under development and we have high hopes for these parts and maybe some other problem parts in the future. Prices are still to be announced depending on Cost/Demand to build them.

    My Kershaw Motor is dead

Well while racing in a parking lot race I managed to short my windings in my Kershaw 2000kv motor. Now to decide do want to buy another one or not.

Buy the tekno kit. I didn't like my traxxas sway bar, you have to drill holes in the rockers, they will not work with a normal rear bumper only with a wing mount and they also tear the dusty motors cover. the Tekno's have none of these downfalls, they also make it easier to add a chassis brace, you get better bolts for your shock mounts and the dusty motors cover fits over nicely.

I must have done some real hard braking then accelerations back to back. That is all I can come up with. I have sent it back for evaluation. I am also thinking I might try a tekin system if this one is unrepairable. My next motor will have the yeah racing twin fan system.

Well My Kershaw Motor had grounded in the motor. So I am looking at the tekin Rx8 system. I am trying to decide which one to buy? My choices are:
    RX8 with T8 (Truggy) motors
    TT2320 4038 2250kv
    TT2321 4038 2000kv
    TT2322 4038 1700kv
    TT2323 4038 1550kv
    TT2324 4038 1350kv

Now my understanding is the lower the kv number the higher top end speed. This will be used on 6s 5000 ma Batteries with a 45C discharge rate.
You guys chime in with suggestions.

1550 or 1700 are more suitable for 6s appli.
2000 is too fast for normal bashing ( Good for shoing off but that's it)
    I have a 1717 1580KV on 6s gear for 54mph and it's PLENTY.

1700 if you don't intend to run 4s much. It will run cooler and perform better than the higher kv and still allow 4s on occasion with larger gears.
2000 is better suited if you plan on 4s much, it's a more rounded motor.

You'll be happy with either, and both can be made to work well.
1550 if you only run 6s, it won't be happy with 4s.
