Traxxas link Aplication and Iphone 5

Is it possible to connect a iphone 5 to the telemetry docking base.
Iam planning to buy a Iphone 5 and it would be nice if I can use it with the Traxxas transmitter.

Yes. It's compatible with any apple iPod/iPhone.

iPhone 5 uses a different docking/charging
Less pins on the iPhone 5, it's a high speed data connection
I believe there's an adapter you can buy to use the older style 30pin(? I think) to the new style connector

I know there is a adaptor, but will that work with the Traxxas parts.
There are some electronic systems that don't work with the adaptor

I don't know if it's ios6 compatible just yet. If it is it might work.

Hello

The i-Phone 5 will work with the TQi docking base so long as you have
the adaptor from Apple
http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD...30-pin-adapter.
The adaptor pushes the iPhone out a bit though and the first clamp
does not make contact with the phone body.
