    is it safe

    I was playing around with my brothers mini summit and we had a lipo battery for a rc airplane that i hooked up but i want to know if i will reck with it the car because it is 11.1v 3s battery with 15c continuous discharge with 20c bursts. very small battery 1300mah

    in theory......that sounds like it will work just fine. wont last too long - 20 minutes maybe

    Enter at own risk - it it were mine, I would try it.

    ok i just have never worked with lipos and did not know, but thanks for the info

    you could even run a much higher discharge rate, but the summit is a little hard to control on 3s.

    Make sure the esc is in lipo mode. GREEN light for lipo

    If it is a brushless RC; Yes, you can use that battery.
    If it is a brushed RC; NO, you cannot use 3S LiPo... 2S MAX!!

    If you do use it be careful. With that low of a discharge rate you may "puff" the lipo with to many continuous speed runs.
