Quick question about A arms

Would it be really really sensible to stay plastic and not go aluminium.
I think the a arms a bit of a collision point when driving an rc.

IMO, yes. Plastic has give and absorbs shock that could be transmitted to components further down the line.

Aluminum is heavier, and bends when stressed past its elastic limit, it doesn't bounce back like plastic.

You can get rpm a arms in black white and blue. The white can easily be dyed to any color you want

But RPM arms require modification.

What modifications are required to run them? Aren't they the same as the erevo?

They are not the same as the Revo.
The cross brace closest to the differentials need to be cut out and you would loose the long wheelbase.
