I need a new push rod for P2 rocker.

I'm kind of confused about this....

So, is there a push rod I can buy and install "off the shelf" w/o having to remove the ends - in order to insert the spacers?

I'm looking for a push rod with the spacers already installed for my stock p2 rockers. ERBE 1/10

    Also...
What is the best way to un-screw the ends from the push rod? I scratched the rod and the end while trying to remove the end from my new #5318 push rod.

    Thanks

Thank you 87 GN. I knew I could depend on you.

But which is the model# for off the shelf installation (specifically for p2 w/spacers attached) on ebay or Traxxas? I have yet to pinpoint the one I need.

A video should be made on this pushrod procedure! Someone??

    Thanks Rock n Rolla.

But these were taken off a truck.

I'm just wondering why they're not available as a part (w/spacers installed) that can be bought anytime, without having to wait for someone to pull a pair off a truck. I don't need a pair now, but I'm pretty sure I will need another set before too long.

Well, I bent another push rod today. This sounds like the title to a country and western song.

Time to order some more. I'm thinking 6 more would last me for a little while.

Thanks to 87 GN's advice, I can replace them pretty easily now.

I'm not sure about upgrading to a stronger push rod, though. I'm thinking it's better to sacrifice the weaker stock push rods first, rather than breaking or stressing another front suspension part further up the chain.

So far, it's the only part# I've had to replace.

Is anyone else bending push rods on a regular basis? Seems to be pretty easy to do.

The Ti push rods really don't cause another weak area....if anything maybe the rocker(s)....
I bent a Summit Ti rod, hitting a T post didn't break anything else. Took the rod off little time got it straight & have been using it for over a year now....
