Setting up my Rustler for running on tarmac only

My Rusty is just too small for where we run our cars offroad, so I am converting it to run in the parking lot at work during break time.
It has a MMP/2400 on 3s/RR revo clutch set up with 38/18 gearing/RPM tranny case/STRC chassis extension + front shock tower/Traxxas Alum. shocks + X01 wheels and tires. This body is only temporary until I decide what I want.

Thanks, It's a Jconcepts stadium truck body with a lot of material that I was suppose to cut off still on it. Let me see if I can find the exact model name.

I thought it was the Scalpel first, but that is different. Must be the Associated SC10 body with the front bumper not cut out. Came out nice.

I really don't know, I have never seen how fast any of my vehicles can go. I just make sure it is faster than the guys at work, thats my only gauge.

The 2400 on 3S for a street basher is so boss. Accel rate is brutal, i miss it to a degree. Great looking truck and that body you picked out is a winner. Nice Rustler man

Thanks alot, I overheated the VXL I had in there and blew magnet rotor apart. I like the fact that I don't have to worry about pulling a wheelie all the time. Even though it accelerates good, it is much more controllable.

The body is a Jconcepts illuzion truth for an SC10.

Actually they are not bad, I had tried a couple different types of tires and these are the best so far.

I have the front and rear tires and the traxxas 17mm adapters. The traxxas adapters would be the easiest way to go with the X01 wheels. They have the same pattern which allows a direct fit. I would imagine just about any other adapter would involve some dremel work.
