    Center driveshaft question

    Has anybody here broken a center driveshaft? Does mip or any other company make a upgraded center driveshafts ? I just put mip cvds on and running 6s, I think the center driveshaft is now the weak point. Thanks

    I'm asking a about the center driveshaft not cvd. I already installed the mip cvd's. that's why I was wondering about the center driveshaft. Cause it's plastic. I'm pretty sure mines going to break soon. Does mip make a center one?

    I'm talking about the centers as well. They're still called cvds. I'm running the traxxas centers with the stock plastic axles. I'd rather break axles than diffs.

    I would get traxxas steel centers for the emaxx and leave the stock axles until they break then get summit axles long on all 4.

    My center CVDs have held up pretty well. I've had one set screw get loose, but that's it.

    You REALLY dont want to be fitting the MIP shafts. The got a habit of coming loose and locking up your drive train while you are going full tilt. I have had the traxxas ones on a BL maxx for a year now and had no issues.
