I have seen a few guys putting a Slash Chassis on Stampedes. What does this do? I looked and saw that Slash Chassis are longer, so are they just making their Stampede have a longer wheelbase? No reason for asking besides being curious.
Thanks,
Clay

Correct. The slash chassis is more stable and predictable. There are way more body choices available for the slash size chassis.
Yup, I converted my Pede over to a Slash. It is a lot more stable, which means spending more time driving and less time walking to roll the truck over.

Once the slash chassis is on it you can use tmaxx/savage bodies. And they look really good, i have a 69 charger body on mine
i switched over to slash chassis and i like the handling much more
i'm running a proline full fender beetle for the slash 4x4 on it, that one is a tad too large tho...
front falls over the bumper and it is a bit too wide.
going for a revo body next, testfit worked out nice, only need to order one now
What do you need to change? Chassis and drive shaft? Is that it?
I dont know what you would have to change, but Im curious too.
yeah, it's just the chassis and driveshaft.

Putting in a Slash chassis seems like a really good idea. My pede arrives in the mail in a day. Looking at pictures, I don't like how the front wheels on a stock pede don't match up with the wheel openings on a pede body...
