Single Servo Requirements

What should I be looking for in a Servo that can be used on my ERBE?

At least one with 250oz of torque or more, each stock one has 125oz.

It should come in a box with the word "Hitec" printed on it.

Hitechs are good servos. I went one better, havent installed it yet as Im waiting on my Amain order to come it with a single servo arm to install it. I picked up a JR Z9100HVT brand new still in the package for a really good price. 480 oz of torque at 7.4V but Im going to be running it at 6V so a 10% reduction which still puts it in at 432 oz of torque. If that doesnt do it I dont know what will.

Forgot to mention, get a heavy duty servo saver spring part# 5344X
It's a must have for high torque servos and it only costs like 2 bucks.

Another thing to consider is the spline count for the servo horns.
Savox and Futaba have the same spline count as Traxxas servos but others like Hitec and JR are different so if you want to run the Traxxas style horn you will need the horns for aftermarket servos part# 5345X

87 out of those 2 servos which 1 would you choose for just bashing?

For the price the second one is worth it? You would be hard-pressed to notice .03 sec of transit time. With the extra torque you can run as big a tire as you like, even crawling with it would be no problem with that much torque.
