Rally is just a LCG SCT

Can anyone else not see that the Rally is just a LCG SCT (Slash)!
What's to stop me from racing it in the SCT class?

Of course it is a lowered Slash with a different body, but I guess that is just what a lot of people want.
Smart move of Traxxas to deliver what costumers want.

Not really anything new here. We all know its essentially an LCG slash. We even let thedreadedend post here with his LCG because he's running it like a rally. It's not a bad thing that its an LCG slash.

But I digress... Since this setup was released as a rally first, does that not mean the LCG slash is really just an sct converted rally? I think since the rally came first, the slash is the conversion. Not the other way around.

The one i'm talking about is the new one, Slash 4x4 PE LCG-6804R. I think those aren't the updated specs. I can't see the ground clearance staying the same.

    Slash 4x4-6807 Chassis/ Ground Clearance

No problemo man. BTW check the specs on the 6804R. It's going to be a really nice setup straight out of the box.

The 6804 kind makes my post now irrelevant, still think my TRCE chassis would be better than the new Slash LCG.

I gotta agree with this Randy.... I may have a heavyweight compared to the stock rally but, its " from the road and o bet its quite a bit more "planted"! The only thing that gets a traction roll from my rally, is cracks or holes, something abrupt in its path.

I'm one of those guys planning on converting my Rally to a SC racer for the spring season. I have high hopes for it.

Looks like the new design trce arms haven't tweaked on you. Is that true for all four?

I did kink up a full set of four arms after a month or so of abuse, but it took alot to do so.....I literally had to do stuff like this to make it happen!

after lots of purposely trying to bend them, they had a slight curve ar the wheels. It took this same ramp, landing on the sidewalk, bouncing off a fence .... then, only then they bent. So I bought more lol. This is the second set, and they've lasted months without any issues. Under normal race and without a ridiculous amount of abuse, they stay straight. Im sure you would be more than pleased with the redesign!
I was also never would have thought they were gonna last this long. I have bent every bit of alloy sold fir these trucks in the past, so for me, im quite impressed!
