    spectrum voltage protector

Anybody else use one of these on thier rx to solve any runaway or loss of signal problems? spm1600 voltage protector. Thinking of trying this before trying installing external bec? It only happened once but that was enough. Thanks in advance for any input.

All it is is a capacitor.
I have a cap soldered direct to my Rx on my Summit. It is not going to prevent runaways... it will only help reduce or stop brown outs.
Whatever it is I just said... I could be wrong.

    Yup just a glitch buster,
If you look carefully you can see what size to order from the local electronics place and make one for less than a dollar.
I use one too, just incase.
Problems. The manual's good starting point. Simple
