    powerless velineon

Have a new velinieon system, runs like crazy!
Just bought used motor and esc, runs worse than the stock Titan.
    Any thoughts? motor or esc?
Going through the motor right now.

That's like adding a supercharger and saying your car is slower. Something isn't right. I bet it's in training mode.

The used motor you have may be burnt up. If the windings look charred or black or un raveled then the motor is most likely junk. They should have a nice shiny copper appearance. The windings will look like a mess but they should be neatly packed in a cylindrical shape. Also there shouldn't be any wires unraveled in a manner that could touch the rotor.

Think you got it! would that cause it to loss reverse after a bit as well? The windings look like s..t.,and there were one or two strays at the rear of it.If that's my reverse problem as well, I wont buy a new esc.

Who know what it could cause. I wouldn't run it though if you have frayed windings. Worst case scenario it may do something funky to the ESC.
