usually if you dont get it within like 2 weeks from ordering the place you ordered from will resend you another since its considered lost and they will charge the USPS for the cost of the stuff lost plus shipping cost part of doing business.

Not even the cost of the item right now. My daughter has this week off planned to ride every other day this week and the car is still sitting in pieces

Hey 50, I'm starting to think you have a disgruntled postal worker at your post office. Ive had pretty good luck but they did just lose my new short body. Luckily he had another just like it and made good on the order. Now waiting for more stuff. I hate waiting.

Have a bunch about 20 or 30 minute drive. 3 hobby peoples also but probably have standard oem type cups. Nothing hd

After all this down time just noticed the rear diff could probably use another shim!

Rpm skid is not a bolt on. Had to drill new holes in front and put a nut and bolt

I added a .1mm shim on the pinion in the rear and added some grease too

    Lookin good!

You can boil the center skid to get it to lay on the FLM braces better & ease any strain on the screw heads holding it down.

I have been using graphite powder under the CVD boot's instead of grease & have seen less dirt intrusion using it.
    Look out for the tree/crunch!

If it gets bad I will use my Sullivan's dry ice. Goes on wet and when it dries leaves behind a Teflon coating!

I like how you flipped the bumper mounts. Looks like it will be a lot stronger that way. The mount will kinda fold in on itself instead of getting pushed up. Good idea!

    thanks!
wish the mount was a little shorter to get the bar behind the aluminum skid but i will see how it goes. i know with out both the aluminum skid would just bend back with a good hit

forgot to mention- did the build using tony's screws! nice and strong .got rid of weaker stainless bolts

cvds came in! let the tear down again! begin!

Haha, nice truck 50!. FYI, I found me a motor and esc. 120 amp with 140 amp burst for 1/8th. Waiting for the parts I bought, mainly the emaxx trans, to come in before springing for this. Got a hinky feeling on the deal...hope I'm wrong.

    Good luck with that!
Ugh! One of the parts I don't care for on the maxx. I have to take the skids off to reach the grub screws to.install the cvds
    That didn't take long!

Good thing I didn't go riding! Didn't notice the arm hitting the chassis

You ask me this is a design flaw of the cvds. Summit cups are slotted and the cvd cups are just a round hole no slot!

    new traxxas cvds
oh yah powerstroke shocks installed! rear view front

8.19lbs without batteries and tires .lighter then i thought and 13.03 with spc 5400 50c 2s and heavy trenchers!

Hey 50, how does that chassis perform. Im looking to get one for durability and being able to use a variety of battery packs. I heard one of the shafts is too short. Is that true? Thanks

    no kidding fr8!
looks pretty thick first ride will be tomorrow.was supposed to be today but more parts came in!
the rear shaft could be a little longer but had some room to spare and 1/8 scale buggy cups are longer if you are worried about it

Do you notice any extra strain being put on your bulks and towers from your wing? I took mine off when I broke off the screws in my old aluminum bulks

50, Did you try mounting the servo to the top of the chassis. Thats how i put mine on and the horn lines up nice and level to the saver. Just a thought.
