Good deals than. I picked up a couple from a guy on rc tech. Seems to work good. He makes them himself and can custom make the. Also.

Good deal. With the hitec didn't need it but was surprised how bad the savox tweaked it out

stormer hobbies is off my list of sellers. the HR bell crank i paid for 10 days ago didn't come in again and still no response on the chassis braces
last ride bent up one of the front bumper screws but was a rcscrewz stainless . i think bending is better then breaking off inside the bulkhead though!

too bad too that stormer is like that, they seemed like a good company to deal with and their prices were good for certain stuff. havent heard back from FLM either?
Bending is alot better than breaking screws thats for sure. getting one of those out almost ruins the part

oops i read that before but forgot about that. that bites that FLM discontinued that part because the emaxx is still going strong you would think they would still make it, to me it makes them look bad just like other places that dont make parts anymore for their own rc's after say 1 yr of release.

Has anyone noticed they shocks with rpm arms need a 3x13mm bolt to fit right?
3x12 is too short and 3x15 will hit the summit axles when it flexes

Put a new rpm body post on. Old one was ground down to much
Put the rings around the carriers. Cheap fix for popping pillow balls!

50, I had the same problem with the rpm and stock shafts. Almost cut them in two. This works good IMO. I used buttonhead screws and ran them through from the inside out long enough for a locknut to hold the shock. Did this on both my trucks. Dont need buttonheads if you have steel shafts. A ball hex driver can help to get them in. But once there in all you have to do to is remove the locknuts from the outside to take shocks off. Only one that didnt work out is the rear one on the front had to use a buttonhead from the outside in to clear the tierod. Makes it so much faster to remove or install shocks. But a bit more work if you decide to change position.
Glad to hear you got the rings on. They seem to work good on mine.

I don't like my screws to sit flush, because if they break off, then i have excess to grab into with some pliers or such to re-screw to get the screwes out...big bore shocks with aluminum components are sometimes tougher....but with my titanium screws that usually isn't an issue...but depending how how you jump and where and what breaks off........longer-excess screws provide a mechanism to remove broken off screws.......

With stock or summit axles you can not leave threads sticking out it would hit the axles when flexing. It would rip a shock bolt out before breaking one

I will never use stormer. One of those shops that don't know anything about the parts they sell. Went trough the same thing with my flm hybrid bulkheads I bought from them wouldn't answer any questions .told me to call flm. I paid for the braces on the 12th they say they shipped on the 15th and are only 1000 miles away. Should be 3 days away

They said they shipped on the 15th. I opened up a resolution on paypal because they wont return emails and nothing again today
Only problem I also shipped the braces back to them and they will probably give me a hard time on a refund

I found out those braces only works with their aluminum chassis

Wow that sucks. I'm used to shipping taking a lil bit being in Hawaii. I hate when companies use parcel post to Hawaii!

You should've just sold the braces to me

Forgot to mention when I ordered aluminum shock braces for my revo from stormer on ebay they forgot to ship it. After a week they finally shipped so they said on my next order they would give me a discount so I went to order the bell crank but I had to go direct off there website. Maybe they never shipped it! Still not here and wont answer emails

I got the tony's screws in today and replaced the bumper mount bolts with their high grade alloy steel. Hope they hold up better!

Cant hurt to stiffen the spring.

I got the helling with OmniModels and went to my LHS now to buy the arms I have been waiting so long for. Top class bloke at Aussiehobbies...He bust open a kit and just sold me the arms...It cost me $5 more than what I paid from the States. At least I can progress my new build now.

I will definately be bypassing Stormer and OmniModels in the future.
