Fantastic....not that bad of a price...gunna get it now !
i took out the maxx out front with trencher x's and 22/65 gearing .ran good motor got to 107 i forgot to put on the wheelie bar and flipped it over on it's back a few times .i installed the blue springs all the way around and stiffened it up a bit better then did an alignment .good to go
What tires did you run in the back ? I hate when my truck flips over........just all them scrapes and scratches........i usually put stickers all over my one body that i expect to get scratched up so the flips aren't so invasive ! I do have to say...them Traxxas Emaxx Bodies are pretty tough !
With 4wd same tires all around. My daughter likes her trenchers x.
I didn't plan on driving so long. I would of grabbed the wheelie bar. With the wheelie bar it can put down some long wheelies!
I know the stock body has taken some hits!
This is one of the hills the truck is about 10ft in the air and sometimes comes down right on the lid!![]()

I received the T bone front bumper today. Good thing I read the directions. They gave me some 3x15 bolts that were too long. Used the bolts that came with the rpm wear plate.
That should make it tougher!
Clears them big tires no problem!

Ready for some abuse![]()
Always get a 2nd Opinion!
How those hybrid diffs working out for you mate?
Your daughter must be very happy with the amount of effort and time you have put into the mods on both your rigs to enjoy a good bashing session. I hope to share the same bond with my kids as they get older...my son is crazy about my trucks unfortunately he is to young at the moment to have his own.
I'm a Rock n Rolla !
Yes she can't wait for Saturday to go ride!
Stormer hobbies are no help on flm parts. I ordered a flm 16005 chassis brace then later read on their sight it only works with flm's 10700. So I asked stormer if it works they told me to ask flm. I called flm and they never called back. I asked stormer to call flm and they said the shipment is on hold and waiting for me to get back to them. They are no help
I know how that goes mate...sometimes it makes you wonder. Some of these hobby stores sell parts and have no idea how it works or what goes with it.
I'm a Rock n Rolla !
some places get into selling hobby stuff because they see how big it is and try to make some quick cash like that.
Youll get your parts and have them installed and be bashing once again but with FLM braces.

Hopefully sooner then later! I knew better I bought my hybrid bulkheads from them at the time they were the only ones who had them but same thing with the shims. Too bad flm didn't sell direct!
Jamie from FLM will try to get back to you I guess....I've tried and have spoken to him twice.......obviously 50...you probably already know from how I ask soo many questions........everything becomes second nature after you do it several times...but it the beginning we all have questions......( thanks for all your help and everyone else's )........clear-cut instructions would be splendid along with better methods of explanation and instruction..........
Yep I called flm tech left my number and they never called back
Stormer finally got back. Chassis brace shipped today
Have a few more mods to do later in the week. Then hopefully that will be good for a while!
I look forward to seeing the new mods...love your ideas..brilliant ! Hey as far as I remember...the screws that came with the RPM skids were black......when I get my T-Bone bumpers in...i won't use thier 3x15mm screws......do you know what size screws you stuck with ? Look forward to the progression of your build !
i used the bolts that came with the rpm skids with some loctite .they are perfect length
How'd the rigs holdup? Nice shot!
Other then a popped pillow ball in the front lower pretty good. Tried some brake drag after I got home I lowered it to 5% I think it was at 12% and in the street would slow down from speed way quickly with no brakes applied
I cant stand drag braking i took mine off i set it at 5% only and when i went air borne just a bit I happen to let off the throttle and front it went so i never put it back on again. Glad it was only a pillow ball so those upgrades are working out then nicely

I really think the flm setup is stronger then my losi mod on my revo .she was hitting it pretty hard! Wish she didn't like those big trenchers so much. Would like a lighter tire on there!

Hey 50, Did the pillow ball pop out of a rpm knuckle? Do you have the steel rings on them? You probably already know you can put the steel rings from the traxxas knuckles on them.
Good to see you tried some drag brake mate...took me a while to get use too but I dig it for bashing, I hardly ever touch the brakes when my truck is in the air while bashing now...thicker lube in the rear will help the wheels spinning out like that around the 43s mark in the vid.
Nice to see you and your daughter spending time together with something you both like.

Yes with the rpm arms. My revo had the rings but the maxx didn't have them on the stock carriers
Might have to find a set
I have used drag brake on my merv but had the 1/10 scale at zero. I think the combo of not being used to the drag brake and the position from where she was jumping. Here is the view of where she was standing(from where I took the pic) you can see the jump but not the landing to well![]()
Theres these,

But not shore if the rubber boots can be stretched over them. It says they take the place of.
those look nice but i just picked up a set of takes offs brand new for 11.00 shipped!
That footage is awesome ! You've got a really cool place to open up them trucks ! Looks warm there......, great stuff !
It was close to 80. It was tough taking a break from bashing to takes the pics!

sounds like where i live i can drive year round while others have to wait for winter to pass. then again it gives them time to make awesome builds to share with all of us
6S OR NOTHING............................ maybe 5s
its 25 here in albany ! Keeps the mamba cool
Nice pics. Persevere with the drag brake, it takes some getting used to, but once you get on top of it it helps a lot.
Always get a 2nd Opinion!
Thanks
I lowered the brake down a bit but it was a lot of fun up there!
