You do? I only get 3 pages!
I get hundreds too.
Always get a 2nd Opinion!
Figured it out! At the bottom of the page is thread display options don't know how it got set like that!
Why so light on the diff oil?
Finally installed my Boca orange seal ceramics in the motor!![]()
Nice. Let me know how those bearings go. Thinking about doing something similar next time I service mine.
Always get a 2nd Opinion!
will check back to see how they work out on the bearings. now those are specific for motor bearings or just the size bearings that are used for the motor?

Motor bearings
Better then their yellow seal!

If you have some pics to choose from and want an animated avatar like mine let me know
I now believe my project is cursed!
I received the hyper 7 diffs today. Took one out and put it in the bulkhead its a bit wider than the losi and looks like it will work without a lot if shimming. Then grabbed the other diff and they sent the wrong one. A spiral!![]()
But I did receive these from flm (and they didn't charge me!) Spacers and extended shafts to make up for the ring gear being pulled in from the shims![]()
With the losi diffs it would take 1.61mm of shims
With the ofna hyper 7 diffs only takes .40mm !
thats a somewhat improvement over the thicker shim. is it fitting better now and able to use it?
Ill wait and see what works the best before buying anything.

So far I really like the hyper 7 diffs and the seller just got back and is shipping out the right one so I can assemble one side now while I wait for the other
Good thing you got a good seller. Just sold all but the bodies of my pede and 4tec now. $13 from my icharger now! Lol only that I know.
So the hyper 7's are suppose to be stronger than the losi diffs? Or just larger?
DEU 8:18 ESV
Thicker ring gear so it uses up more space. Looks good
Ooh OK I see. Are they hard to work with? They don't happen to fit stock bulkheads? Haha dumb ¿
DEU 8:18 ESV
Not too bad. Hardest part is all these bolts and no instructions
I may order a set as spares.
I was going to see if I could swap the hyper 7 ring gear on my losi cup (so I could run the Hr cup) but whole different design. O ring instead of a gasket and taller spider gears![]()
More trouble
Flm's stub axle is cut too![]()
Compared to stock
The pin for the summit axles wont fit through

I ended up pulling the 5454 stub axles out of my stock axles and cutting the threads off them. Since I am running the hyper 7 I don't need as much shims and it works fine
Then I forgot I used my spare pins to mount my traxxas center cvds to the cups so I had to order those

I see the "bullet proof build" is progressing nicely.![]()
Always get a 2nd Opinion!
Looking good mate...nothing like modding all the time.
I'm a Rock n Rolla !
forgot to order a few small parts so little modding to make it bulletproof won't hurt a thing!
Figured might as well do this right!
Just ordered 8 boca yellow seal ceramics for the diffs. Had a 15% off coupon that boca just sent me
I have a full set in my merv and my erbe. Great bearings very smooth!
And now to hook it up better an Hr double update clutch. Twice as many clutch pads!
This is the same but on my revo![]()
So where do you get that setup at? Now when the pads wear isn't it more money for 6 pads? What benefit would you get from that CP setup? Does it mount up just like the old setup? No mods needed. Sorry about the questions 50 just want to learn new stuff so I can try these later on.
DEU 8:18 ESV
50 togo, I like that clutch. Somthing new I havent seen yet. part#? After all the money i have spent on my maxx trucks im not to woried about the cost of three more clutch pads. Like mike said, new stuff to try.
Bolts right up with no mods. Same width even!
Will last twice as long at least and I figure could handle more slippage if I needed it
Here is where I got it http://www.ebay.com/itm/150987502798...84.m1439.l2649
I am also running hr hard anodized clutch pads. Trx15hsl. And yes those pics are from my revo parts are in the mail!

LOL I just found it. I must have one. Theres a a lhs close with free shipping. It never ends. Thanks mate
That is one beefy looking clutch with twice the number of pads
Your thread is just wicked, defintely going to be one of the pioneer emaxx build threads. Do you have the model number and where I can find that HR clutch? Anything else needed to install it?
Just wondering what anybody had to think about this and if it would be a better step to take for all of us versus the castlefan?
