i just used a long screw driver to ger to the bolt. Wasnt that hard considering other trucks ive worked on. And this thing has stood up to some serious flips on pavement!
long screw drive and i had to bend the cage alittle bit and then it was all good
Cool. Long Craftsman Pros are awesome 4 that stuff (the screw that is hard to get out).
Only 70 MPH? MORE LIPO!!!!
Is that thing durable? I really like the look of it, but have had terrible experiences with integy before.
Sig edited for awesomeness. NC
mine broke in two spots....had to re-weld them... and now it sits in my box
well i had a head on last night with a concrete column going about 50. I had taken off the front bumper and had just the cage on. MY cage bent a bit but other then that held up well. Though the screw that holds on the motor to the motor plate broke off. First time i ever seen that from a front end collision.
How easy is it to get the battery out with one of those on?

Is the roll case only for the look of the car or dose it help some how?
And Is it heavy?
its good if you are more of an extreme driver or new if you flpp alot i suggest it but otherwise i dont really like it it does look cool and it protects but taking it off is a pain

Can someone post a picture of this ON A SLASH 4x4? I'd like to know what it looks like on the truck before I buy one and I've never seen one mounted.
To the men and women of the US military, thank you

i think it serves its purpose considering i hit a wall near 50 mph and really didnt break anything. Putting in and taking off the battery is very simple wether its a 3s 4s or a regular nimhi. Just stick your hand thru the windshield and presto its out. I still cant understand why you guys are having such problems with the rear bolts. Mine are no where in the way if i use a long wrench. heck i can even take out the motor, and set the mesh with the cage on. and honestly i wouldnt say its very heavy i plan on trying to install some panels on the lower section to help with debris. Ill get a pic of mine also once i get home.
