Huge new project- need input

My New Project need input - using a Huge scale Skyline GTR

I need to get specs of this Skyline GTR to tell you the specs but my guess is it’s a 1:5 scale or larger…

Its 31 inches long and 14 inches wide… it makes my NOAA summit look small…

I want your help to help me decide which way to go….

1. One a huge scale 2wd street racer using my stampede as the foundation

OR

2. Use my Apache and make it 4wd rally car

Give me your opinions….

Thanks for the input I decided today to try both... Since I'm needing for parts on my pede I figured I butcher that and do it with my pede until I can ultimately build my own alloy chassis and make it 4wd..

Still need to get some more lights to finish fixing the back lights

Man that turned out looking awesome! Nice job on lining up the wheelbase. An aluminum chassis will be the way to go for sure, head to the metal recycling yard and get some 1/4" aluminum plate for cheap and make one. Trust me, its really easy and can be done with everyday power tools like an angle grinder for the long cuts and a dremel for the precision cuts. Use the stock chassis dimensions to get the mounting holes and servo hole in the right spot if you want to make it like a stock style mounted chassis. Trust me its really easy, i made the chassis for The HR P2DE XL in one evening and it only cost me 32 bucks to buy enough t6 aluminum plate to do 40 chassis'.

What are you planning to run for a motor and esc?

MD, you are my fav large scale trx tinkerer lol. Cant believe how cool the talons look on a gt-r.

Where did you get the body?

EDIT: One more thing, may want to move the ft camber links to the front of the shock tower(space the shocks out???). Having the geometry way out of whack like that can lead to many easily broken parts...

Rag6: I found a "collectables" place that has them ( old rc shells- all sizes) by the ton... ( not all work and most are pretty beat up)

The day I went he had 1:5 scale ford pickup, some ? - cars could not tell very stylized, vw buggies, Porsche boxers, h2 , mclarens, corvettes, and even a formula 1 partial chassis that must have been 4-5 feet yes feet long but looked like it was driven over by a car...

I'm thinking about building large scale rc from the there and selling them to make some extra money for my projects.... Maybe I take orders for shells and sell them... I think he wants to stay a small local shop... Just a hunch
