just got a rustler vxl with the tqi and want to get telementry but is there a specific gen ipod touch you need to have for it to work? my neighbor is selling the 1st gen for really cheap and i want to know if that would work

Traxxas Link is designed for iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPod touch 2nd, 3rd, and 4th generations. For full functionality, Traxxas Link requires a Traxxas TQi transmitter with Docking Base and a TQi receiver installed in the model. Telemetry functions require Traxxas telemetry sensors to be installed on your model.
