    single servo ?

I have completely torn down the summit for preparation for running in winter. i am tired of the dual servo steering setup so i am looking to go single servo. i am looking at a savox 1230sg (500in/oz) anybody have experience with this servo?

I believe that craig.mitch316 runs that servo or one real similar, he'll be the guy to check with. I do think he's having good luck with it, though.

+1^ From what I've learned, the Savox 1230sg is a great servo.

    Thanks mate....

I am using that servo...post #42; I really like this servo and its running without a BEC...as it says at 6.0V it has 500oz-in of torque and is very responsive.

I compared this servo to my Hitec HS-7950TH (which I use in my eRevo with an external BEC) and I would say that they are both top class servos and perform as described.

IMO it is well worth the $'s....

You will have to waterproof the servo...its splash resistant.
