I use stampede arms. Because they are wider all of your links and tie rods will be too short. You may need longer pivot pins as well.
What's the best way to shave off the material I got my arms today

dremmel - probably safest
hobby knife - tempting fate :-)
If you don't have a dremmel you could use a file.
Well i got the arms done. They are on. It runs like a champ. Just turning isn't as good but it's awesome

Lookin' mighty fine! You could even go for a long travel pre-runner style slash now, by putting longer shocks in front. I just ordered the ProTrack kit, but if it is not wide enough to my linkings, I will go for the Jato wide mod also.
Thanks

This is my Slash. Top photo is current untested config with running Rustler arms as per the JANG mod but with 108mm Piggy back shocks.
The lower photo is what I used to run very successfully (for bashing) which is a set of Stock XXL rears with non-progressive red springs and 40wt oil and no preload.
I'll probably switch back to this config because the piggy backs are probably gooing on a Class 1 build I'm working on
I would highly recomend getting some longer travel shocks on there, great fun.
Oh yes and rustler arms on the rear is pretty good too.

Well I've bashed this setup harder then normal and it's amazing. I think it handles better i can make corners faster. The only thing is... The wheels don't turn as much to the side but its still awesome
