new rx not used to install

alright. i have the new tqi that i just got. i also got a new rx. but i do know where to cut the long antenna. is it before or after the hard silver part? can any one help me out?

DO NOT CUT IT ANYWHERE!!
unless you want to buy a new one all over again.

i was thinking the antenna tube.

do i just fold it over and cap it or do i leave it straight and cap it?

If you meant the tube, where did the metal part come in??
The tube can be cut... as long as there is not an antenna wire in it.


I have seen both ways listed in Traxxas manuals.

jimmie, on the both pics, the part above the metal casing. its like a flexable wire. looks like im going to be leaving it straght for better range. but i think for my other truck i may need a new rx.....
