Got to thinking about making a little waterproof tight box to go over my batteries so they don't get ruined this winter and wanted to make a little sketch for it, but I can't draw anything worth crap so I thought a 3D model would be much better and more accurate.
So my question is, what models do you guys use?
I would prefer it to be free.

EMachine shop would work well for that.
No slipper/tall gearing/power = broken parts.

Free cad might work. If your a student you can get creo and inventor for free. Auto cad might work for ya too.
