is there any difference between the niitro sport, nitro rustler and the jato except the engine size? they all look the same.

In my opinion the nitro sport is a low end truck that is for beginners and has a basic setup. i owned a nitro rustler with a 2.5 and that was very fast and has a better setup then the sport(basically the upgrade). Both are decent but are traxxas older trucks and the ideas are older. The jato is super fast and has a much better suspension and heavier than the rustler and sport which i think leads to better handling. Jato is also a newer truck. So overall the suspension is different parts are better and the way the weight and little things like that are setup. I own a jato 3.3 right now and i have a bunch of cool hop up parts on it that are awsome that you cant get for the rustler or sport. SUPER FAST!!! Hope this helps

ok,makes sense. thanks for the info. i had a jato 3.3 but did a trade with the wrong person. trying to get another nitro,sure are fun!

The Jato also has a 2 speed trans.
