    help for tire choice

    'Sup everybody,
I was looking for good 2.8'' tire. Type of terrain: loose dirt, hard dirt, small gravel . I've seen that many of you like trenchers, trenchers and trenchers on desperado. Are they fine for this?

I was also looking for a ''masher'' style tire

Which are better for what I want to do?

I love my trenchers they are great for every type of surface i have tried but you could go with the mashers but you will need 2.2" rpm offset wheels. my next set will be dirt hawgs because they are lighter and smaller as well....peace

I really like my masher 2K
    Both good tires.
I have found the Mashers last longer
I mounted my set on RPM Revolver Wide rims

Thanks guys, I found exactly what I want. this:
2.8 Proline Trenchers on 2.8 Proline Desperados

    Or this:
2.2 Proline Masher 2000 stretched on 2.8 Proline Desperados

which one do you recommend me????

The soft side wall of the Trenchers makes the car a little bit more wobbly but on the other hand it helps the Trenchers to keep the grip longer before it starts to slide. I often run with JConcepts G-Locs which make it roll less, but it also slides sooner when the surface gets more slippery.
That same difference might be the case between the Trenchers and the stretched Mashers.

I run mostly on dirt (hard and soft), gravel and a little grass. The Trenchers have more grip vs. the Masher V style. My Desperado wheels are a bit too fragile for my liking though. If you jump then tend to get cracks and then get out of round. That's because the rims are too thin for hard bashing and there's no strengthening ring on the inside like there is on the outside edge. You might try to find a tougher 2.8 wheel (good luck!). I'm running on 3.2 Revolvers now. They can take the abuse.
