    Clutch Pads

Anyone have a solution for the slipper clutch pads disintegrating and ejecting themselves while still so new. Its pretty annoying What causes it? Im still running totally stock, even the stock battery Obviously im not overheating or over powering the clutch. I was twisting the stock axles every other pack so I loosened the clutch a 1/4 turn. Im still smoking axles but now Im ejecting clutch pads. Any fixes I dont know about? My old TMaxx 3.3 use to do the same thing but not as frequently.

Interesting you were twisting shafts so much with stock motor and battery. You running the stock pinion? A good upgrade is the Revo slipper.

Ive replaced the left (driver) side 3 times and the right side 4 times. I usually just swap whatever half is broken. Leaving one weak half still in. Im sure had I swapped the entire axle every time It wouldnt have been so frequent but I thought it would be more thrifty. Didnt save much though, Im getting the MIP axles next.

Revo slipper huh. Direct swap? Ill go search it. THANKS!

Get the aluminum pads to go with it. Only about a $2 difference. No more disintegrating pads

You can get most of the benefit just by switching to the Revo aluminum pads. They're bulletproof. I tried carbon fiber pads which won't disintegrate, but they slip more than I like even when you tighten the adjustment. The aluminum pads are great.
