so to change a 1/10 rally to a 1/10 slash 4x4 LCG all I need to do is to add:
slash 4x4 body mount posts
slash 4x4 front and rear bumpers
slash 4x4 shock towers
is this all I need to do to a 1/10 4x4 rally roller to get it to be a slash 4x4 LCG?

The vast majority of the car is the same and although I know the bulkheads ARE slightly different I dont know that youd need to change them. They may very well work. The rear will work for sure as the stock slash 4X4 rear bumper mount is already on the rally...
The shock towers are fine, no need to change them. The rear body mounts will likely work fine but youll need to add a front mount of some kind for the SC style body.
So the list I can say for sure is this:
Rear bumper (not the mount, just the bumper)
Front bumper and mounts
Front body mount
Tires/wheels
Body
From what I can see... thats it.
Pede, Summit,
ERBE, Rally,
Motley Crew, 1SQ
Body mounts and bumpers is all you need...

seems like its easier to transform a 1/10 rally to slash lcg than a slash 4x4 to a LCG? I have a brand new slash 4x4 roller sitting here and I think I am just going to sell it and start from a 1/10 rally instead, what do you all think?
it cost me about 150$ to convert my slash to rally.....BUT now I can have either one when I want!

If you look at hunchbacks post and my original post youll see it is WAY easier to go FROM a rally TO a slash. You need to buy almost the entire chassis setup if you already have a slash. With the rally you just need the body, wheels and tires and the front body mount. Money wise it may be very similar in price if you keep all the stock rally parts. But, if you sell off the rally body and wheels/tires you can re-coup some of the SCT body and wheel costs. Infact, you dont even need wheels, just tires. The stock rally wheels will still work.

forgot to mention that I already have a slash 4x4 body, tires and rims, body posts, gear box covers, bumpers, so I think I ll just go and get a rally roller, and sell the slash 4x4 roller. They are about $220 on ebay right now, wonder if they will go down a little bit.
or was it the bulkhead of the front that they said was different?
So to put a rally chassis on my 4x4 slash this is all I need???
I actually had a new slash 4x4 roller, sold it and bought a 1/10 rally roller which is coming next week, since I already have the slash 4x4 stuff, i figured it was easier to make the rally roller a lcg slash 4x4.
From what I understand, I can just switch the bumpers off the rally, body posts, and thats it
Why wont the slash 4x4 wheels and body work ?
Slash 4x4

Looking to do the conversion to my son's Slash, he start'd race'n recently and he's doing really well ( 2 races under his belt and has a 1st and 2nd in mains!!!) Have 1 question, Hunchback could probably handle this......do I need the 6845x servo horn/bellcrank kit??? Can't find it list'd anywhere....
Thanks for your help!!!! Parts list was VERY helpful!!!!
rc10T3, TT Sparrowhawk XXB, Slash 4x4, 1/16 Rally
To go from a 1/10 Rally to Slash 4x4 LCG all you need to change are the front and rear bumper, body mounts, body and wheels/tires...thats it. I went the Rally to Slash direction since I didn't have a Slash 4x4. I would have parted out my Slash 4x4 and got the Rally, keeping whatever parts will cross-over as spares. You can never go wrong getting a new vehicle...hehe![]()
Tailrotors are for weenies!!
Using hunchback187's list, using BuyTraxxas prices, it adds up to $96.50 before tax
Bump for customer on the phone.
My guess would be he was talking to someone on the phone about converting. Probably bumped the thread so they could find the parts list easier.
1/10 Rally x2/P4de/P2de/Rustler x2/KB Rally
Yeah to make it easier to find the thread. They should make a forum section just for stickies and help.
Rudeness is the weak man's imitation of strength.
Started with the Rally, got a front 4x4 bumper ($9.50) then got two 4x4 body posts ($8.00) then bolted on a spare rear bumper from the son's 2wd slash onto the rally's rear "bumper", then dusted off an old desert rat body and dropped it into place.
Now have the best of both worlds and super simple to change from one to the other......
On tour - 2 wheels/2wd/4wd
I put mine together and still have not put the electronics in it yet!!!
