    Question Loose ESC

    Hey all,

With my 4X4 Pede, The bolt that holds the ESC in place no longer sufficiently tightens to really hold it in place well.... And when bashing, jumping, etc, this becomes a problem. Will a new bolt do the trick, or do I need to modifiy the existing bolt (add superglue) to once again have a secure hold? Or get a longer bolt?

Anyone else have this problem with a loose ESC?

I had the same problem and I just put a longer bolt with a nut on it.

When that happened to me, I got a slightly larger diameter and long enough to end flush with the bottom of the chassis screw. It has never loosened again despite some pretty brutal crashes.

Same here. Went and bought a slightly longer screw. Stays put now.

Common issue. Longer screw will do the trick.

Sorry I don't have any pic's but I used a long pan head screw up through the bottom with a nut on top, problem solved.
