Those body prices are crazy. I bought two for $45 each. Nothing special. Im interested in the hubs, Body and green socks. Give it up man.

even though originally the revo was for my daughter the maxx is now hers but she still likes the green and the kawasaki body . wants the hubs on the maxx

I charged up my 4 50c lipo batteries to ride today and its wet outside. Another rained out weekend only problem with lipo- they are on the charger getting discharged right now

I ran up there last time after a rain and took forever to get the mud off once it dried
That's what I don't miss about nitro being able to blow the car off with my compressor and having it come clean

For the record the 8690 pinion is too long !

G'day mate...I just received my RRP8690 gear in the post. The hobby shop must of had them for ages, the plastic and labeling has discoloured.

Mate, are you able to measure a the 8090 pinion length if possible...I am going to attempt to cut down to size and re drill the hole...its worth a shot since I have these gears now.

The hole for the grub screw will be close .the center of the hole is right at the line on the 8690 pinion. If that makes sense.
The shaft for the 8690 pinion is 22.5mm and stock is 19.5mm

i will take my time i just ordered some boca yellow ceramics for the diffs so it will take a while to get here. i only needed six more since stock has two of the same size bearings

Rain again no bashing today. I have it back together been wanting to see how the diffs hold up til I get the losi mod running
At least this time the lipo's are in storage mode

One of the best investments for me was the HPP motor brace...awesome product.

Great guys to deal with too...its a bit tricky to install. Fix the brace to the motor first, then the mount on the shock tower. Tighten 3/4 of the way to shock tower and then mesh spur and pinion...then tighten all the way to shock tower, lastly fasten the brace and mount together.

It will make sense once you have your Motor brace.

so i ran 53.74 on 24/54 and stock tires on 2s .i put my e maxx tires on -they are about 1/2" taller and tomorrow i will try a 5 cell speed runs to see what it does
it wasn't that cold today and on those speed runs i wanted to test the temp strip and the motor was so cool it didn't even register.thought it would get a little warm with the taller gearing

Tried a 5 cell run but I got up to 53.3 and when I rolled on my throttle it would just wheelie

I like the area that is in more across the street there. Spring time i will be taking more vids too wet over at the river park here. Nice vids though power there.

Compared to the e maxx wheels the badlands are not as wide but with the offset rims the width is now 17.5" vs 16!

Boca yellow seal ceramics came in today for the losi diffs. Checked out my dremel bits. Think I will pu one more for the job

The castle quick connect works fine with the castle link but doesn't work with the field link!
