I know they do it in Melbourne...never been to one; not sure if the Traxxas team comes out...I moved from Melbourne to Brisbane in Jan this year, not sure if the have it here. RC Trucks seem to be bigger in Sydney and Melbourne.

it usually is a bigger thing in larger cities thats why they have it in long beach its near LA and the larger places unlike having it say in Sac capital of california.

The ofna horn was shipped late so I put the stock one on and put the heavy duty servo spring in and installed the futaba receiver in so my 3pl is ready to go .tomorrow I will pull the front diff for the hr cup and aluminum diff case

I installed the hr aluminum cup and blue aluminum case in front and sway bars from and back!

Traxxas center cvds too!

Yeah it does fit; those are the hardened replacement gears everyone talks about...just cant find someone who ships to Australia. Have a look at post #20 to 22...that's an example of how I just shimmied my diffs .

Maybe it will only work with the telescoping stock center driveshafts.

Think.its more of a t maxx ring and pinion setup

you know what i notice, is that the older t-maxx diff pinion from pro.15 is a tad bit longer than the newer 4907.

That would be it. 25.00 wasted ! Unless down the road my ring gear goes bad and the pinion survives

Thanks for pointing that out mate...I did look at all the exploded views of these models 3903; 3908; 4907; 5309; 5603 & 5608 a while back.

The description does say its for TRX 3.3 T/E-MAX...I looked at all the ring and pinion gears of all the models listed above...they all use Traxxas #5379x, I assumed it would be a direct replacement for that part.

I've just found a place that will ship RRP 8690 to Australia earlier in the week so I snapped them up...$75 later with shipping.

I see on closer inspection in your previous post that the part # you are using is RRP 8090...I've done a search on the net and can't seem to find RRP 8090 or RRP 8690 on the Robinson website...maybe I am not looking properly.

I have just looked at model 4910 (T-Maxx) and it uses a different ring and pinion to all the models listed above...Traxxas #4981, it might be a direct replacement for this model .

My appologise...this has just been a waste of $75 for me .

Yeah mate...those are them...from the pic above the pinion is to long; not sure how it would work in an eMaxx then??

It wont in a new e maxx. I have an 8090 in my maxx I am building. I only have one in the rear couldn't find one for the front that's why I bought the 8690. Hopefully the shimmed front diff on the maxx will hold up. I have a few spares if it doesn't. No sweat live and learn
I will keep and eye out for the 8090

I had bought 2 8690's on ebay and cancelled them then paid 25.00 for this one glad I cancelled!

We need to drop robinson racing an email to try to get them to retool and make the 8090 again definitely a big demand!

First Tire was balanced perfectly! Needed no weight

These are the biggest tires and two didn't need any weight and the other two only need 3.7 grams each! One of my e maxx wheels needed 13 grams

yeah...i got a kawasaki revo truck body too...it's nothing special...at least not to me...it's just another body...

it's the internals that gives me a woody...ha ha...

but anyways...how does ur revo compare to ur maxx...which one do u like better?

The maxx hasn't seen dirt! Last weekend got rained out but I did a little more to the revo plus its a little tougher. The maxx will be more for my daughter. I know I switched trucks but I don't think she minds!

now i see a difference here on the bumpers why wouldnt rpm make the part behind the bumper for the merv? i see they have it for the 1/10 though which would be a good idea for them to make it for the merv as well mine is broken which it wouldnt have if it had a rpm one. tomorrow ill send over an email to them asking if they can make that part.

i did it to my MMM on 2s and it work. its just not enough juice to run the 2200

so is the 1/10 bumper rpm with the piece behind it? looks like it is but not sure.
I know its not recommend to just hook up 1 battery to the MMM more less run it like that. thats what i have my esc wired in single so i can run just 1 2s lipo when needed like for my wife since its too fast for her on 4s

yes you sure do need a bigger trunk lol. when my bro had an s2000 its more than enough for his paintball stuff and then things bot out of hands that he needed a bigger ride so he traded it for a Pilot 4x4.

ok i'll ask rpm if they are going to make the mount as well for the merv would be good if they did.

Ooh yeah you need a bigger truck like my malibu i can fit my pede, emaxx, merv plus 2 ice chests as well and put the seats down if i needed to but looking at it i can fit maybe 6-8 emaxx's or e revos thats why i like these cars big trucks the impalas are the same too.
I'm guessing also stripped diff or the drive line.
