the diffs look pretty good still, saving them for spares?

yep spares
i hope had to reuse the gasket the rrp8090 didn't have one! the other did
didn't need any shims. started with .2mm in the pinion and .2 one the stock cup .was too tight ,took the pinion shim off ,then tried .1mm with no pinion shim ,then .1 on the pinion and no shim on the cup! then took that one off

wow this is getting expensive ! sold something on ebay and bought some more partscenter cvds for the revo and the maxx
yep they are a whole different ball game than the 1/16 but, worth every upgrade in the long run.
Good run time with the spc 5400 50c. Longer than I thought !
Yep I figure replace before it breaks. Getting hard to get my daughter out riding and every second counts!
runtimes on my lipos only being 4000mah are 30mins+ each time.
if you have the cash now to upgrade why not i upgraded only because someone broke my upper a arm on my merv so i picked up all the a arms and bumper. upgrades installing them is fun but then i always have to look at it when i am ready to run and say no its looking new again if i run its going to be all messed up again hahaha but part of the hobby that doesnt last i stick the pack in there and run it anyways.

has anyone had a problem like this! when i assembled the front end when installing the summit axles the left side rubbed against the diff cup. the ring gear side has a bigger hole then the left side and was hitting . i opened it up a bit with the dremal and works fine now
I was balancing the tires but some needed 12 grams of weight on one tire! need thicker lead tape!

Found some wheel weights but now they are California safe which means lead free. So hack saw time.![]()
Almost ready rpm carriers due today. Summit axles and stiffer springs installed.![]()
looks good with all that rpm on there. i like the way the summit axles look on there.

had to order some blue hubs now that blue took over!
have you seen spc has the 6500 50c and 6500 65c lipos both 2s. now today they have 8000 50c now that is a wopper of a battery only 200mah from the last 2s they had but a higher C rating. great prices

Another trick I picked up. Thanks again!![]()
I have it together! I will test it out tomorrow!![]()
Spc says the new 8000 50c pack fits erevo and summit might have to try out a set for 46 a battery how can you go wrong
Sent from my iPhone 5
I was thinking the 65c
I just bought some more 5400's wish I seen those
Get the 8000 or the 50c's are a great deal. Shoot if I could I would get the 8000 for my emaxx though I don't think I would ever run that much mah so maybe the 6500 50c would audit me better and priced good as well.

Has some new company !![]()
I like the blue theme you got going there mate.
I'm a Rock n Rolla !
thanks should of put the blue mervs in there too!
tried out the spc 3s 5400 50c today! the acceleration reminds me of one of my mervs on 3 cell!
which did you try the lipos on emaxx or e revo? nice collection you got going on there.
DEU 8:18 ESV
i ran the 3's in the revo .the e maxx has some play in the rear pinion(pull and push on the rear shaft ) so 2s untill i shim them!
A stock E Maxx doesn't hold up well to 2/3s power..........
Bulks, chassis, & shock towers all need upgrade.....
The thing is I really like the look of the Maxx, but it just can't take a heavy beating........
Would you go flip my truck back over??
i have some aluminum bulkheads and rpm shock towers i could take off my t maxx but i don't really plan on running 3s . i am just going do some shimming ,center cvds and rpm upgrades and that will be my daughters truck
Thinking of one good servo instead of two . Get a decent one or a nice one?
Got some more stuff today!![]()
Looks like I will be pulling those diffs apart again!
Just ordered Boca yellow seal ceramics for the complete car and orange seal motor bearings for the 1515
i knew the trenchers were big! next to e maxx
what kind of gearing for these tall tires!
So there not that much bigger on height than the emaxx width they are though looks like and man they are bigger than the e revo wheels.
DEU 8:18 ESV
about 1/4" taller e max 11.54 oz vs 13.75 oz . about 2.21 oz heavier![]()
what happened to the..."I'm gonna keep it stock"...???...ha ha...i guess that went out the door a while back...
those are some nice wheels n tires....i see that u've already put in a big chunk of change like the rest of us...kudos man...u are officially a part of the dark side...
No kidding!
I think I like to wrench on it as much as driving!
i like that pic you posted know i see how much thick tread those trenchers have compared to the emaxx tire wow huge difference i see for me. I just like the trencher look the side walls and everything if i am going to move out in the bonnies then i need a tire like that then will be doing some rock crawling and a ton of dirt and mud more likely since the road is dirt well live on.
DEU 8:18 ESV
Yep
I haven't glued a traxxas bead in a while. I will have to take my time!
Just checked tracking be here early next week
Nice and strong!
