I have found a new Mamba Monster with a 2650 motor. It says the controller is a V3. It also has dual battery connectors, I am assuming I can swap it to single battery connection.

I have an Ultimate 4x4 running 7cell right now. If I get this I will start with 2s then probably 3s down the road a ways.

Does that setup seem like it should work?
