2218 RX vs. 2218X RX what Does the X stand for?
This question may have a Global Answer (Affects everything with a X behind it).
I have seen a large assortment of Part #'s that have X's Behind them like my 2218X RX I received along with some parts.
First off what is the difference between a 2218 and a 2218X RX?
Second what is the purpose of the X's Behind other #'s does X mean it is a Updated Version of the Part
Another great example is the Glow Plug 3232 and 3232X

A few people here have bought parts that end in X, and it's just the "latest" part according to a rep from Traxxas. I asked, "What is X" and they replied with, "It doesn't mean anything specific other than it is our current gen parts, so your friend that got part number 0000x is the same part as 0000." However the 0000x had a hole in it for a telemetry sensor, BUT it was the current gen part... so there you have it! =)

Thanks, That Makes Sense, Instead of creating a entirely new number and making things much more complicated it is easier to add a X, Kind of like adding a Rev # but less letters instead of 2218 rev.A, 2218 rev.C
Thank you very much BTW I appreciate it.
