New mustang 302 owner

Just traded a guy that boat I wanted to sell so bad for a mustang 302 with a big block conversion. The previous owner squeezed a Titan 550 motor in it somehow! It has some wicked rally wheels it came with and he's dying the wheels black for me tonight! Sweet!

I don't think it is possible as the 775 is actually a 1/8th scale motor... but it all depends on what he created to mount it.

Idk, but he made it work! He works at a machine shop, so he probably has the supplies to create it

That is a 550 motor.

You wouldn't want a 775. Takes more than 3S to get it going, gotta be close to a pound, is 2.64" long (at least 0.3" longer and 0.3" larger in diameter than the 550) and would require a total custom (or hack job) mount.

It would help folks realize how much of a difference there is between motors...
I have held both in my hands (and I didn't think to take a pic) and the 775 is huge in comparison to the 550's.

Mustang does not handles as well as the Merv because the merv has a wider stance. But they are both very fun. All in all, if I had to choose, my vote would have to go towards my merv because it has a humongous motor in it. You could set the mustang to do that though. I like the merv better because the bumper if more durable compared to foam. If you were to buy one for looks, go with the mustang, but for overall performance, get the merv. I'd buy both again if I had to.
