A finaly body run?

Hoping maybe someone can let me know here, i have a Ken Block body on backorder with my LHS. They are adamant it is still available as 2 of their suppliers have not flagged it as discontinued yet.
Is/was Traxxas doing another run of them or is anything KB specific done and gone?

I told them to leave it on backorder as long as it still shows an ETA, even if that ETA keeps getting bumped out 2 weeks at a time.

Even looking at Amain for example, they are still showing a pre-order with ETA.

Hopefully someone from Traxxas can chime in.

I just looked around online and couldn't find any place that had it in stock, so it doesn't look good. I can't imagine Traxxas making more of these since they discontinued the model, but I could be wrong. Unless they already have them sitting in a warehouse somewhere and just need to send them out, I wouldn't hold my breath. You could always try the market place here to see if someone has one for sale. I checked ebay and didn't see any on there.

oh im not in a rush for one, just saw them still listed on the LHS site so i ordered one. So far they haven't been removed from anywhere that did have them and nowhere can i find that part # shown as discontinued.

I hope they are still available in the future because I would like a show body for mine. I've managed to keep my stock one pretty clean, but it does have a few scratches.

I looked around for quite a while for a KB Body. I couldn't find one for the longest time. I ended up getting one from Ebay about 2 weeks ago finally.

Now, just the other day I noticed they are on Tower Hobbies (they weren't there before trust me I looked), and saying Mid Novemeber.

Same thing Great Hobbies and Amain keep doing. Just keeps pushing it out.

I would be surprised to see these bodies again. Ken Block has a deal with HPI now, and I would think there would be some legal type issues making the bodies with all the "Block" "DC", "Monster" logos on it if they no longer have a contract together.

I'm not real up on all the legal/copyright stuff, but that would be my guess as to what the holdup is.

Couldn't agree more, im just being thrown off by the fact nowhere i have been able to find them listed has them showing as unavailable or discontinued. Even looking from a distributor level. (Great Hobbies primary distributor still shows ETA for example)

Just backordered everywhere, or even preorder.
I made this post hoping to see someone from Traxxas reply.

Can anyone from Traxxas confirm if there will be more shells produced? I cannot find them discontinued anywhere. And everyplace i look just keeps pushing out the ETA on backorders.

yeah i don't need one THAT bad haha. saw that last night too.

NIP i might pay $50 for one. but i have one on back-order with my LHS for $39 if they ever come in.

That's why i would love to hear from Traxxas on this one
