Ya, it's alot of fun, but when the track gets dusty, it's slick as ice... It makes it really interesting to drive on with a 2wd car...

It would be alot of fun, but the dirt under the snow turns to MUSH. I mean, it sticks to the bottom of your shoes by the inches! Maybe we could go mud bogging though...

Looks good. Y'all should maybe make it a couple feet wider. Just my 2 cents. Tracks to me seem better when they are wider with room to pass or turn around in.

Update: Our track is STILL covered in snow, it hasn't even melted off in the last month. Any way, we drove on the track yesterday, it sure was alot of fun! It was really hard to even see the track, you could only see the little bumps in the snow where the jumps and ruts are. I'm hoping maybe we'll be able to get some pictures (video?) uploaded soon!

Ok, I guess I should update this... We've been to the track since the snow has melted, but it's SO dusty it's like a dust storm! So we just ended up waiting until the day after it rains, so the track isn't so dusty. It's a great track when it's not dusty.

Not much... Our track is almost gone... The weeds are coming up with full force, we can't pull'm quick enough. We do have plans to expand it later this Summer when the canal by it drains out so we can get to the track better.

Time for Weed B Gone! Yea me and a friend are building a track on his property and we are having the same problem, I wish I can reclassify weeds to insects because they are as annoying as flies!

I tilled mine about inch deep just enough to smoother out the weeds then ran a roller behind a mower on it and keep a 2 gallon sprayer of round up on hand see green spray it before it gets big...track area is weed free....

The easy part can be building the track. The hard part is usualy maintaining the track. If you have hard pack clay, keep a leaf blower handy. Gets that fine layer of dust off the track so much easier.

R.I.P. Our track is gone. They plowed it under with a tractor while the city was knocking down the weeds. Oh well, I guess that means we can make a new one this fall.

You live in Roverton, Utah which is in Salt Lake County. Type in a nearby address and maybe they'll have a GIS map of the area so you can see the owners. http://assessor.slco.org/

Well, I ran out of time here at work looking for the specific spot: wide open lot next to a bright white fence and houses on a cul-de-sac on the north and east sides....getting close....
