Very impressive 50. any idea on what kind of speeds you thinking your going to get with it? I'm just waiting for some 3s batteries, than go to the local airport that's just a couple country blocks from me and see if i can use a run way. Seeing they only have like one or two planse a day that come in if that. lol

I really don't know with 2s and 32/45 gearing and the small foams maybe mid 60's and then I will calculate the loaded kv of the motor and then see what rpm it will do on 3s!

Made a few 2 cell runs. Geared 32/45 with small foams ran 61.1 running out of space. Not bad for 2 cell!
that was at only a rpm of 45369 so 3 cell is doable .
by the time i brought it back motor temp was only 105
711.43 watts and 99.64 amps battery voltage dropped to 6.47 volts
with my thunder power 1800 65/130 it ran 61.1 and with the spc 50c ran 56mph

i was at the beginning of where the run started and after the run a car was coming . i turned left towards the curb and the car disappeared -right into a storm drain!

Lame! Obviously you got it back since you have the data. Any casualties from the storm drain?
It's gonna rip on 3s, I bet you could go for the merv top speed record think it was 81(if i remember right, cant check, lipos just finished charging) they got in the video with the super nitro foams.

ha! i am pretty good at not hitting the throttle when it disappears -it was heading towards the sewer! i backed it up and the other side was only 2 feet down and got it out. that would of been bad! all is good!
should do pretty fast even geared only 32/45 the 37's are in with the 1112 .i will have to put some more weight up front even with the foams and 40% punch and a mean throttle curve it still wheelies and on 3's it will be wild!
i need a road like in that video for the speed run have to drive an hour to get there then have another person at the end of the run

Even when my motor and esc weren't hot I noticed a lot of heat built up on the front of the motor plate. That's why I did mine. Blew out a tranny bearing running it on 6s so no temps yet. Hit it with yours and let's start some stats. I was really surprised when it was warm and other stuff wasn't. Maybe from the 39/45 gearing, lol

Oh yeah n is it a 540 or 550 big block? I'd imagine 540 being 9000kv.

It's a cm36 with such high kv I don't need real tall gearing on 3s will be interesting!

Your telling me! I didn't think it would handle it but with not being able to crack 98* on the esc or motor I had to try. The package did say everything smaller except the power, lol. But it's like 77k rpm. Still no hotter than 120* on six passes then tranny failure. That I was thankfull for, I knew I shouldn't keep pushing it but that new wheelie bar and d cell battery strapped to the front shocks had me grinning.

All ready to bash with my spare neu 1110 1/y geared 28/45. My merv is set up for 4s with a 3500kv neu probably the first time her merv will smoke mine on 2 cell!
Could definitely used another wing with the 9000 motor on 3s!

So its a small block again. My friend should was supposed to help with the major speed run flaked on to many times so the neu went in and ripped you the mountains once again!
